Billie L. Johnson Licensed in NE, IL, MO - Retired
After settling in Illinois, Billie worked as a compliance specialist for a corporation in Missouri. She then volunteered at the Land of Lincoln Legal Aid Society in Alton, Illinois. In 1997 she obtained an associate position with Lucco, Brown and Mudge writing appeals and handling probate and estate, family, criminal, bankruptcy and general civil matters and asbestos work. After four and one-half years with Lucco, Billie and Karen started their firm. Billie practices in the family, criminal, bankruptcy, probate and estate and other civil law areas. She belongs to the American, Nebraska, Illinois, Missouri, and Madison County Illinois Bar Associations. In her time away from work, Billie enjoys reading, crossword puzzles, traveling, fishing in Canada with other women friends and just simply being with her family.

Billie
received her undergraduate degree from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa
in 1969. She taught High School and Junior High School before returning
to Omaha, Nebraska's Creighton University as a Teaching Fellow to pursue
her Master of Arts in Russian and British history. After graduation in
1975, she married Tom Johnson and began traveling the world as a military
wife. In 1983, Tom took a two-year tour to Korea and Billie entered Law
School at Creighton. There she met her future law partner, Karen Anderson.
They went their separate ways after graduation in 1986, but reunited in
July 2003 to form the Johnson and Anderson Attorney at Law partnership
located in Edwardsville, Illinois just outside of St. Louis, Missouri.
