Karen A. Anderson Licensed in IL, NE, TX
After receiving her law degree in 1986 and passing the Nebraska Bar, Karen practiced law in central Nebraska at the Hall County attorney's office. From there, she went to work for The State of Nebraska as a Child Support Prosecutor in a five county area in central Nebraska. Karen then moved to Omaha and worked for the Nebraska Department of Social Services in the areas of child abuse, neglect and delinquency. She finally went to Texas to work as the Senior Staff Attorney for the largest child support enforcement corporation in the country. During her days in child support, Karen was president and chair of the legislative committee of the Enforcement of Child Support Association. She made numerous presentations for the National Child Support Association and conducted many training sessions throughout the country concerning all aspects of child support law. She moved to the Edwardsville, Illinois area to establish a law firm with Billie Johnson. Karen practices in the areas of family law including divorce, child support, child custody and visitation and paternity. She also handles personal injury cases and other civil types of cases. She belongs to the Nebraska, Texas, Illinois and Madison County Bar Association. Karen enjoys traveling, jogging, reading and gardening.

Karen
Anderson received her BA degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln
in 1983. In the Fall of that year, she began law school at Creighton University
in Omaha, Nebraska where she met her future law partner, Billie Johnson.
